On Monday I played in a pre qualifying event for the ISPS Handa PGA Seniors Championship at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club. 111 seniors all took to the course with just 28 spots available for entry into the event. After a solid round of 3 under par 68, I finished 1st in the qualifier and will now be playing in the event later this week. This is the first event on the Seniors European Tour for 2014 and I can't wait to tee it up on Thursday.

On Saturday the 14th of June European Tour player David Howell is coming to Ely to play 18 holes. If you would like to play 9 holes with David we are holding a raffle in aid of the Captains Charity. David will be on hand to talk with you during the 9 holes about his experiences and give you some tips along the way.

Ely City Pro-Am on Friday the 22nd of August
The Ely City Pro-Am will be taking place on Friday the 22nd of August. The Pro-Am gives you the chance to play with a top East Region PGA professional and use this opportunity to entertain your clients/guests.
The Pro-Am also offers you the ability to promote your brand or company through sponsorship. This year we will be offering sponsorship from just £100 a hole. The Pro-Am is a great day starting with coffee and bacon rolls upon arrival. Then you will be playing 18 holes with a PGA Professional before ending the day with a two course meal followed by the prize giving.
