Diamond wedding anniversary

Last Saturday John and Jill Powley celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary here at the golf club. John has been an active member and a great supporter of the Pro Shop throughout his 26 years as a member and it was a pleasure to be invited to the party to celebrate their 60 years of marriage.

Below you can see John and Jill during the party plus a very special letter from the Queen.

PING G400

The new exciting PING G400 range has now been launched and we already have some demo irons available in the Pro Shop. The G400 has been almost two years in the making and the progressing from the G is fantastic. 

We have a PING Demo day coming up on Wednesday 9 of August where all the new drivers, fairways and hybrids will also be available to try.

If you want to try the new G400 irons please come and see us, If it’s the driver or fairways that interest you then please contact us to book an appointment.

The original Callaway Steelhead fairway woods were some of the most popular ever made.

As a result, Callaway have launched a new version the Steelhead XR fairway woods. Using the popular design from the original model Callaway have added modern technologies to increase aerodynamics and distance thanks to a thin powerful cup face design.

We have a demo available for anyone to try so if you are considering a new fairway wood then this is worth a try.

Sunblock now available

As mentioned in a previous newsletter about the importance of protecting yourself while out in the sun, I’m pleased to say we now stock Techniblock sunscreen.

Techniblock is an aerosol Sun block that is non-greasy, ultra-dru, fragrance free and doesn’t need rubbing in.

The sunblock is water and sweat resistant, breathable and provides lasting protection for up to 5 hours.

Do you hit your irons too low?
