Ladies - Get Into Golf

Do you know any ladies who might like to try golf? 

Well, after two successful ladies introduction programmes we are pleased to announce we will be running another "Get Into Golf", for ladies. The first introduction meet and greet will be taking place on Saturday, 9 April at 2.00pm in the Pro Shop, before getting to tour the golf club and its facilities.

Calling All Junior Golfers - Group Lessons This Week

Starting this Saturday, 9 April, we will be holding our Spring/Summer junior golf lessons. From now until late August we will be running junior group lessons, for one hour, every Saturday from 10.00am til 11.00am. 

These group lessons are open to any junior golfer who wishes to take part, including non-members. If you know any juniors who may wish to take part please let them know and we can provide equipment if required. 

Hopefully we can encourage even more juniors to take up this great game and strengthen our junior membership. Get in touch here if you are interested.

 

Ely Ladies make a change to Callaway and Odyssey golf clubs

It was great to see so many ladies join in during our Callaway Demo day. Ely City members Meg Towers and Ursula Rain both decided to purchase Callaway/Odyssey products as they felt their game would benefit, and improve, with them. 

Here you can see Meg with her new Ladies Callaway XR Driver and Ursula with her new Odyssey V- line Versa putter. Thank you to everyone who supported the demo day and I hope you enjoy your new clubs.

April Fools

I would just like to say, thank you, for all of the responses to my April Fools' email, regarding the introduction of a burger van outside the Pro Shop. We had a few members taken in by the suggestion and I would like to thank them all for taking it in the spirit it was intended.

 

PING Demo Day

As mentioned in previous emails I have organised a PING demo day on Friday, April 22, from 10.00am til 3.00pm. We have a few spaces left for fitting appointments with the PING technician so please contact us here to find out more.
