Carol
Club news

Last Monday Ely City members, Carol Harrison and Peter Harrison, were working hard on the grounds around the halfway house. Carol spends lots of time working on the plants and appearance around the halfway house area. It's great that Carol takes pride in our golf club and gives up her free time.

Coaching news

Have you ever had the chance to play alongside a PGA Professional and get advice while enjoying your round? This may just be the perfect opportunity for you as I'm currently offering three members the chance to play alongside me for nine holes followed by a light lunch and review. During the holes I will be on hand to discuss course management, hole strategy as well getting chance to see your game up close and offer advise on how you can improve.

I have a number of dates available for a morning start. These are June 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13. This is a great way for you and two friends to improve your game while enjoying a social and relaxing nine holes. We will tee off at approximately 10am followed by a light lunch around 1pm.

The cost for the 9'n dine is £60 per person which includes your lunch and the entire on course coaching. If you would like to book one of the available dates with your friends please contact me as soon as possible. More dates will be available later in the year.

Junior golf

My assistants Paul Geen and Jamie LeBrun run a roll up junior golf coaching programme every Saturday morning from 10 until 11. This is a fantastic way to introduce a junior to our great game in a fun and relaxed environment. The lesson cost is £8 for the hour and we can provide clubs if required. If you know any juniors who may wish to give golf a try or a seasoned golfer who wants to improve, please let them know as we welcome all juniors.
