Captain/Pro Challenge 

Last Sunday the Captain (Alan Todd) and I took to the course to set a 4BBB score and a challenge for any male members who think they could beat it. Well after a pretty steady start we played some great golf and scored a team total of 49 points! 

This included a great birdie by the Captain on the 9th hole and an eagle from me on the 16th hole. After setting such a high target it was always going to be difficult to beat and the closest anyone got was 46 points scored by Ian Cameron & John Mynott and Liam and Aaron Heaps. 

The Captain and I would like to thank all of the teams who supported the competition and in the picture you can see The Captain and me alongside our playing partners Mark Smith and Mark Maslen.

PING Demo Day - Wednesday, 12 October - only a few spaces left 

I'm pleased to announce we have managed to secure another PING Demo Day before the end of the season. 

On Wednesday, 12 October PING will be coming to Ely City Golf Club giving all members the chance to try the latest offerings from one of the biggest names in golf. 

The demo day will run from 10:00 until 2:00 and we are advising you book your time early with us as all of our demo days this year have been fully booked in a matter of days.
