New Club crested accessories – Now in stock

We have just taken delivery of our new range of club crested accessories including ball markers, pitch mark repairers, towels, putter covers and more. These crested accessories make ideal gifts for special days like birthdays. Come along to the Pro Shop and see the range of crested items we have available. We also have a great range of lambswool and Merino wool sweaters in stock plus slipovers in both wools as well. Come and speak to us in the Pro Shop and we can show you the great looking range.

David Watt is back in the swing again

On Thursday I had the pleasure of playing 9 holes with David Watt. 18 months ago David purchased a set of Titleist clubs from us and I offered to play nine holes with him as part of the deal. Unfortunately only a short time after buying the clubs David suffered a stroke and had to take a long break from golf but thankfully is now getting back to playing again. It was great to play 9 holes with David and to see how well he is recovering. Here you can see David playing on the 13th and then a picture of us both on the 11th tee.

Our Srixon Demo Day proved very popular

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Srixon Demo Day on Tuesday. The quality and performance of the Srixon products proved to be very impressive when some members seeing huge gains in accuracy and distance. We were also fortunate to have Cleveland products available on the day for members to try and I have to say their range of irons and woods are very impressive. I will be organising another demo day later in the year and If you are considering upgrading your clubs I seriously recommend giving Srixon and Cleveland a try.

We have a few Srixon demo clubs available for you to try in the Pro Shop if you are interested in trying them on the course. Come and speak to us about your game and what you’d like to improve, and we will see if Srixon could be the answer you have been looking for.

Ely City PGA Pro-Am – Tuesday 21st August – ENTER YOUR TEAM NOW

Our annual PGA Pro Am will be taking place on Tuesday 21st August and we are pleased to announce that we already have a title sponsor for the event, Platinum Properties Ely. Pro Am's are great days for everyone involved and with superb prizes from leading brand like Ping really make this an event not to be missed.

Team entries are now open and is on a first come first serve basis. Team entry fee is £240 (£80PP) for members which includes Bacon Roll and coffee upon arrival, 18 holes with a PGA Professional with a chance to win top prizes plus a two-course meal with your team professional after your round.

If you would like to enter a team please come and see us in the Pro Shop soon to avoid missing out.

A Golf holiday not to be missed with Paul and Andrew – Pestana Vila Sol - November 2018

Well this is the perfect opportunity as Paul and I have organised a golf holiday to the superb 5* resort at Vila Sol in Portugal from Monday 12th November until Friday 16th November 2018. Vila Sol is a superb resort well known for its outstanding 5* service and facilities. Vila Sol has three nine-hole loops which were chosen to host the PGA European Tour Portuguese Open in 1992 & 1993, so you know the course will be of the highest quality.

Vila Sol also has top of the range leisure facilities on offer which include an outdoor heated swimming pool and two tennis courts. The hotel boasts two restaurants, the Green Pines and L’Olive Restaurant, both of which offer great Mediterranean cuisine. The excellent location means you are only five minutes away from the international marina in Vilamoura which has a number of bars and restaurants to enjoy.

Our aim of this trip is to give you the best experience possible while at Vila Sol. We will be putting on daily coaching to help you play better golf and we will also play at least nine holes with you during your holiday, so we can give you on course instruction and advice.

Winter vs summer
