Captain's Day 2015

Last Sunday saw 142 men compete in the annual Men's Captains Day. This years Captain, Mick Munnelly held an individual stableford competition over 2 shotgun starts during the day. In the morning round the competitors were treated to a free BBQ with beer and following the afternoon round, Mick treated all the competitors to a meal. Mick toured the course throughout the day ensuring everyone was kept well hydrated with more beers which may have been a contributing factor to some of the scores.

However, Trevor Chapman triumphed on the day with a fantastic 44 points, just beating Simon Cooper on countback.

Well done to all the prize winners and most of all thanks to Mick for a fantastic day which was enjoyed by all. Below and right you can see some pictures of the prize winners. 


  

The Open Medal

Unfortunately due to the awful overnight weather in St Andrews we won't be running the Open Medal this year as not all of the players will complete their second rounds. The medal will still take place so please come along and have some fun.
