On Monday I played at The Berkshire Golf Club in a bid to win one of only 8 spots available to compete against the worlds best seniors in The Senior Open. This is one of the majors on the senior circuit and the strength of field shows this with the likes of Colin Montgomery, Fred Couples, Tom Watson, Sir Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, Miguel Angel Jimenez and many more. With over 100 seniors competing for just 8 spots I'm pleased to say that after a steady round of 3 under par 69 I finished in a tie for 3rd and will now compete in The Seniors Open at Sunningdale Golf Club.

Well I don't know about you but this year's Open Championship has to be one of the best I've ever witnessed. It had everything from weather delays to 90 yard putts and some amazing shots that emphasised just how good those guys are. Every year we hold an Open Medal on the Saturday of the Championship. This is a different medal in the sense that while signing into the event, members pick a player out of the hat who has made the cut at the Open Championship. To determine the overall winner the Professionals final round is paired with the member's medal score so below is a list of the top ten prize winners.
